Happy Birthday guy!
Celebrated the boy's bday hard this weekend. Busy bees! I felt like I had no time to recover from all of the festivities and it was back to work.
I desperately need to study, which sounds like the lamest thing to say. I will leave you will a food post (finally). My bestie Ray will be happy my blog posts aren't getting too boring.
Spicy Orange Steak Tips
- 4 lbs steak tips
- the juice and zest of 2 navel oranges
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce or tamari
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup of rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp minced ginger
- 10 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp coriander
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Sriracha sauce
Soak wooden skewers in water ahead of time. Cut up the steak tips into 1 inch cubes, removing as much silver skin as possible. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large ziploc container. Throw the meat into the marinade and let sit at least 4 hours. Before grilling, put 4-5 pieces of steak on each skewer. Grill to the temperature of your liking. Eat, enjoy, repeat.
